Hello!
We had a super good and very fast week! First of all I went to El Rosal on Tuesday with Hermana Lopez. My comp and her comp had meetings. It was so fun. I love how even though we are from different cultures and whatnot we still get along so well. Fingers crossed that she is a future comp! Stalin got baptized this week!!!! I have to say the adversary is REAL. Stalin is so awesome, but any problem that could happen when preparing for a baptism happened with him. Even up to the last three hours before his baptism. He had work until 7 and his baptism was at 6 o'clock. Also his phone had some issues and we could not communicate with him. So we waited...for 2 hours. It's every missionary's worst nightmare! Luckily we made contact, got him to the church, and we had the most wonderful baptism service. I have some advice for future missionaries...read the material they give you when you get to the field. For example, the book Adjusting to Missionary Life is magic. It will answer every question you have. Why I did not read that book in March is beyond me. One of my favorite quotes from it is this: (Wow, could I sound more nerdy right now?) "You will need to take correction, repent, face your weaknesses and regrets humbly, and rely on the Lord more than ever." Those words could not be more true. I send my love and I know the church is true. I know Christ lives. Hermana Brinkerhoff
