Hello.
This week: Divisons. duh. It's my life as a sister training leader. I went with Hermana Chimbo from Ecuador (the besttttt. I loveeee this hermana). Then on Thursday Hermana Mariaca from Bolivia (such a cutie). Elder Packer from the 70 came and visited us. We had a special meeting with the STLs and Zone Leaders where we learned how to be better leaders. It was fantastic. Then we had a meeting with the other missionaries. My favorite part was when he encouraged us to think in a way that we would baptize every week. Doesn't that sound fantastic? He told us that the second coming is near and the work is hastening even more. We've got to work harder. For our service activity we cleaned a hoarder house. I'm just leaving it at that. It was interesting. We found a Book of Mormon from 1999 :) Right now we are working with fantastic people: 1. Papito: our famous Hatian. He still doesn't speak spanish but he does speak a little english. And I mean a little. 2. Eliana: She has read the entire Book of Mormon and knows the church is true, she just won't seal the deal and come to church on Sunday :( 3. Franswa: he's from Haiti (everyone I teach is Jatian no joke) and he's a pastor in some evangelico church but he changed his tune these last few weeks and has been coming to our church alone. 4. Sara: she is the mom of a member. We had a great lesson this week where we talked about how she could receive her answer. We told her if she really wanted to know if the church was true she needed to come to church. (helllloooo) and she came. It was great. I love my mission. I know I always say that, but it's not a joke. I love the saints of God here in Chile. Yesterday at church I got a little choked up because it hit me how much I will miss these people. They have been my family the last 16 months. They have fed me, listened to me, laughed with me, shared thier hearts and home with me. I owe a debt I cannot repay to the people of Chile. xoxo Hermana Brinkerhoff
